The changes to the Start arrangements seem to have worked well, and we will continue with them. Thank you for your cooperation.
The results for the Under 13 girls race have been difficult to verify. This was mainly because a small number of girls left the funnel before having their number properly recorded. We do this on two separate boards, so that we can resolve any difficulties. Our Officials are very experienced, and can cope with most things, but not athletes who disappear!
Two reminders for athletes: firstly, numbers must be worn as issued, not folded or cut, even by our smallest athletes; secondly, the numbers you received for this meeting need to be brought with you to all the other races. If you forget/lose/damage your number, you must get an official replacement, but you will have to pay 50p for it.
A reminder that new affiliations for the November meeting must be received by 9 am the previous Wednesday morning, 5th November. Telephone entries will not be accepted.
